For one of its clients – an international manufacturer of electrical devices and provider of related services – Artemys is looking for a Project Engineer in Electromechanics, who will be responsible for the promotion and sales of technical products and services (UPS solutions and services) to clients across industries.

Responsibilities

As Project Engineer in Electromechanics, you will be responsible for the promotion and sales of a range of technical Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) products and solutions.

Our client is a leader in the digital transformation of energy management, and digital solutions in the area of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a good knowledge of electricity, a young and dynamic person who is willing to learn continuously and do an office inside sales job that requires strong client focus.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Promote and sell a wide range of Uninterruptible Power Supply products and solutions, and a variety of related technical services (installation, start-up, maintenance, testing, repair, replacement, retrofit/upgrade of installed equipment)
• Interact with the clients remotely – contact them by phone on an ongoing basis. Your clients will be companies with large Uninterruptible Power Supply systems installed, which operate in Chemical, Life Science, Wastewater, Food & Beverage, and Heavy Industry, to name only a few
• Call the clients, identify their needs, and proactively offer a range of UPS products – from components to complete technical solutions (including the solutions for homes, buildings, data centres, infrastructure, and industries)
• Define the scope of work, give an estimation, and prepare offers and quotas
• Build close and lasting relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction
• Work closely with support functions, e.g. the marketing department, who will provide you with information about the clients with installed UPS systems and equipment
• Work closely with operational teams of technicians, who will provide you with relevant and timely input and leads as to the situation on the field i.e. at a client’s site

Qualifications

As Project Engineer in Electromechanics, you will attend a short-term 4–6-week training, followed by a continuing, long-term on-the-job training. This role brings many future opportunities – that is why the candidate is expected to have the following skills and competencies:

Technical skills and experience:

• A relevant technical degree (in electricity or electrical engineering, industrial automation, electronics, service engineering, or similar)
• Strong basic knowledge of electricity
• 2-3 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Experience in a technical sales area

• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Ability to build a sustainable and reliable client relationship
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Languages:

• Native proficiency in Dutch or French
• Good knowledge of English
