For one of its clients – the Luxembourg branch of an international group that specialises in network infrastructure services for the electricity, telecommunications, and transport sectors – Artemys is looking for a Junior Project Manager – Electrical Transport Lines, able to demonstrate good project management practices, with special attention to site logistics.

Responsibilities

Our client is one of the leading service providers of complex technical infrastructures in the fields of telecommunications, electrical energy transformation, and overhead and underground lines. They are the right address when it comes to the energy transition in Europe, the building of new electricity networks and the restoration of existing high-voltage networks in the construction of overhead transmission lines. As Junior Project Manager – Electrical Transport Lines, you will be responsible for organising and managing all technical aspects of the company’s high-voltage projects, and for their overall execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead as a project manager and actively contribute to the project phases of handover from sales, project structuring and planning, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, handover to customer, and ultimately closing
• Go to the site at least 3-4 times a week and plan the tasks of project teams (up to three projects teams, approx. 10 people per team), and manage their daily work
• Maintain effective ongoing communication with project team members (correspondence, emails, calls, weekly meetings), and monitor their progress and deliverables
• Ensure consistent project/contract execution in accordance with the contract and the planned timing and quality
• Monitor and control project status in relation to budget spending, with a view to achieving the defined targets
• Ensure full, effective, and timely management reporting (reports, project reviews, events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles, etc.)
• Be the key point of contact for the clients, lead face to face weekly client meetings, monitor the level of client satisfaction, and work on its continuous improvement
• Analyse with due care all deviations from the specifications, as well as any additional client requests
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, and effectively communicate with them to ensure that client demands are fully met
• Have ongoing communication with the engineering office team and provide them with relevant input on a regular basis
• Communicate with suppliers and coordinate their work with client demands
• Prioritize tasks, ensuring completion of key work packages as well as efficient reporting of project status

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree in an engineering field
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medium and High Voltage distribution solutions
• Experience in project management, preferably in the High Voltage GIS industry will be considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of project management software tools (MS Excel, MS Project) and effective use of report writing tools
• Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well-structured and stress-resistant multi-tasker
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as to work well with others
• Ability to deal with an intense workload, and work in a complex and demanding on-site environment
• Capability to prioritize, work safely, use good judgement, make critical decisions
• Native proficiency in Dutch and good command of French and English
