For one of its clients – an international player engaged in the manufacture of electrical devices and sales of related services – Artemys is looking for a Business Developer – UPS Systems/Data Centre Solutions, who will be responsible for strengthening relationships with key customers and creating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

As Business Developer – UPS Systems/Data Centre Solutions, you will be working in an environment that will enable and encourage your professional education and personal development from day one. Your clients will be among the top large-scale companies, possessing high-tech IT infrastructures; and you will be working with a team of professionals who will help you achieve key business goals and objectives.

As Business Developer – UPS Systems/Data Centre Solutions, you will be responsible for the promotion and sales of a wide range of Uninterruptible Power Supply related products and solutions, as well as a variety of related technical services – installation, start-up, maintenance, testing, repair, replacement, retrofit/upgrade of installed equipment. But also fully equipped new projects and services. In the longer term, you will be able to sell the Company’s other offers and perform cross-selling.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Receive and execute orders for renewal and modernisation of UPS products and solutions (components and /or complete systems) installed with the existing clients (40% of your time)
• Conclude and execute new service contracts with new clients (20% of your time)
• Conclude and execute new service contracts with the existing clients (20% of your time)
• Integrate the installed based systems into the company’s Cloud platform and monitor the condition and status of the devices remotely (20% of your time)
• Visit the clients, identify their needs, and offer a range of technical solutions – from components to complete technical solutions. Your clients will be large Data Centres, companies with large IT infrastructures. Manage your own agenda.
• Engage in customer education – help your clients understand your UPS products and services, how they can make the most of your range, and why it can bring them added value
• Prepare and ensure to execute an annual sales plan for key accounts
• Prepare monthly forecasts and reports in an orderly and timely manner
• Build close and lasting relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction
• Cooperate closely with other functions, e.g. the internal sales specialists and account managers, who will provide you with relevant and timely input and help you expand business opportunities
• Provide support to other functions, e.g. the Tender department, forwarding them relevant and timely input, sales estimates and proposals
• Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to your colleagues on the longer term

• Relevant technical degree (engineer in electromechanics preferably)
• Experience in technical sales is a strong asset
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to familiarize with ERP/CRM related tools
• Proficiency in Dutch or French (both preferably), and a good knowledge of English
