For one of its clients – an international player engaged in the manufacture of electrical devices and sale of related services, who is willing to generate business growth in Belgium – Artemys is looking for a Business Developer in Energy Projects, able to improve customer satisfaction by providing high quality, professional sales services to clients across industries.

Location: Brussels


As Business Developer in Energy Projects, you will be a key figure in the promotion and sales of technical services, you will interact with clients and be their trusted advisor, and you will be leading the digital transformation projects in the field of energy management and automation. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Promotion, sales, and cross-selling of a large variety of technical services, such as the installation of major electrical distribution equipment, as well as the start-up, maintenance, testing, retrofit, and upgrade of the equipment previously installed at the client’s site
• Sales of turnkey projects ranging from simple replacement of equipment to fully engineered solutions
• Identification of the scope of work, estimation, and sales of system adds/modifications and maintenance agreements in accordance with client’s needs and requirements
• Establishing close and lasting relationships with clients mainly in the Residential and the Tertiary sectors, as well as in the industry

As Business Developer in Energy Projects, you will have a strong client focus and you will:

• be actively meeting your clients, developing the business, and executing the sales plan
• ensure client satisfaction while supervising all ongoing activities
• participate in the preparation of analyses and reports on field service performance
• work closely with support functions, project preparators, draughtsmen, project engineers, in order to maximise business opportunities
• have a close and continuous cooperation with the marketing department in order to be provided with relevant and timely information and leads as to the tracking of the installed base
• educate clients on your company’s products and services, and provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to your colleagues

It is equally important that you have:

• A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electronics, Service Engineering or similar
• Solid experience in a technical sales area, experience in a specific sector is a plus
• Knowledge in selling service offers is preferred (consultative selling)
• Ability to build a sustainable and reliable client relationship
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools
• Native proficiency in Dutch or French, and a good knowledge of English
